Municipal Representation & Counciling
- The firm provides legal services as general counsel to a variety of municipalities and public agencies throughout Arkansas as well as serve many other municipalities, counties and public agencies located throughout the state on individual assignments. Our general counsel services include a broad range of municipal and public agency matters, from the drafting and preparation of ordinances, resolutions, regulations, and administrative or employment policies, to the consultation with our clients on public fiscal requirements, freedom of information laws, public utility law, right of way acquisitions, public infrastructure , land use and planning law and public employment law, to the preparation of procurement and public construction contracts, to consultation with clients on police and fire department matters. The firm also represents municipalities, counties and public agencies across the state in litigation defense matters involving contracts, land use litigation, claims before the EEOC, federal and state civil rights matters, employment discrimination, various police and firefighter matters, administrative law, appellate litigation, and other litigation services.
