Emily Hart

Emily Hart graduated with honors from the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville, AR in 2018, where she served as Articles Editor for the Journal of Food Law and Policy.  Following her graduation, she spent three years in private practice at Munson, Rowlett, Moore, and Boone, PLLC., specializing in insurance defense and trucking litigation before joining J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc.’s in-house counsel team.  During her time with J.B. Hunt, Emily worked on the contracts team constructing and negotiating contracts.  In 2022, she joined the Office of General Counsel with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, where she specialized in labor and employment matters, representing the VA before the EEOC and Merit Systems Protection Board.  

Emily is licensed to practice law in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas.  She has represented corporate, individual, and governmental organizations before state and federal courts and administrative forums. a
